Middle Class Relief

The middle class are the engine of America's economy and when they prosper and have confidence in the future, we succeed. Dan Maffei recognizes that our economy has changed and that even the basic rules for middle class prosperity and security have changed with it. Dan's plan is aimed at getting our economy moving and to restoring prosperity and confidence. It includes:

• Immediate relief to help with energy costs paid for by preventing oil companies from profiteering;
• Permanent middle-class tax cuts to help families meet their major challenges;
• Help for businesses to create new jobs and encourage planned public-private development; and
• New investments in transportation, bridges, schools, healthcare, and technology to modernize the backbone of our economy and stoke future innovation.
